Stuck Between Two Holidays
We might've just ended Thanksgiving but Christmas is in a few weeks! That does not stop the second graders from working. In math, they're working on multiplication and division. They're learning the basic things before the harder ones. The second graders are also learning how to take surveys. They went into the 5/6 room and surveyed them on their favorite hot lunch. Can't wait to see what Mrs. Sullivan has been teaching them!

Jr. Iron Chef
Jr. Iron Chef is an after school program that is organized by Lucy. Like all the other after school programs she organizes, Iron Chef is a complete success. Usually, Iron Chef is meant for middle school but Lucy made Jr. Iron Chef for Dover School. There is the head chef, Mike, who likes to have fun but is a terrific chef. The kids learn to make spicy spinach balls and other delicious treats that are sold or eaten by the school. The after school program will have a competition in March and show off what Mike has taught them. Good luck Dover and keep cooking!
